By default, the Storyline Player is set to ask the learner if they want to Resume or Restart. But that can be adjusted in the player settings. The data is shared with the LMS (Suspend Data), so yes it "should" happen. SCORM 2004 Editions 3 and 4 provide more suspend data than SCORM 1.2
