Personalising Rise e-learning based on an earlier answer?

I recently cracked how to do this with Storyline blocks and Javascript, by sending a "postMessage" to the browser in which the Rise course is running. Later in the course, subsequent Storyline blocks can reference the earlier choices - like variables. But it is tricky to set up. DM if you'd like to know more.
