Pixulated Video
Check the frame rate of the video...as it might be too low and that could cause it. Also check the size. and ensure SL doesnot scale it up...as that causes pixelation too.

Thank you, I have gone back to the original and am trying again.
I also have a problem with no sound on the text to speech. I play the video in 'Edit Video' and I hear sound. I have no sound on preview? Any ideas how I can fix this issue?- StevenBenassi9 months agoStaff
Hi Rebbex26!
Glad to see the community has been helping you!
In addition to the feedback already offered, I suggest performing a repair of your Storyline installation. However, if that does not improve the playback of the video you've imported, it's possible something else could be getting in the way.
Do you mind sharing a copy of the problematic .story file, and source video so we can test this on our end? Feel free to upload those items here in the discussion or privately through a support case.

Thank you. I had to submit a draft today so in the end I put links to the videos and had them run from a different platform. The speed and quality improved this way.
The pixelation/low quality seemed to occur when I imported the mp4 into Storyline and generated a Text to Speech. I also have problems with the text to speech not playing sound in preview. I have already submitted a case about this.
I tested another video import and added Text to Speech in a fresh new Storyline file and it worked, so don't think it is my sound settings.
Text to Speech is supposed to generate sound, I don't understand. :(
