Play and Stop buttons greyed out in Timeline
Sometimes my Play and Stop buttons are greyed out (and can't be used) in my Timeline in Storyline. What could be causing this, and how can I reactivate them?

I'm happy to share that we have released a new update for Storyline 360 (Build 3.76.30446.0).
In this update, we have implemented a fix for:
- Timeline preview buttons weren't always clickable.
As a first step, I recommend updating Storyline 360 to the latest version. Here's how:

In that image you've shared they don't look greyed out - could you tell us under what conditions this function isn't working for you? Does it happen in all your Storyline files or only particular ones or on a certain slide? You could always begin by looking into the repair of Storyline. You could also look at importing a file into a new file if you're only seeing this behavior within a particular file.
5 years on....and this has not yet been resolved, ( Version SL3 7:3.720003.0) This happened to me while using SL1, SL2 and SL3, the only way out of this is to save, exit and re-open...this is a frustrating time waster for me.
