Player timeline not syncing up with video timeline?

So another friend came up with this solution, and what we ended up doing was tethering the media timeline and player timeline together:
Trigger 1
Pause timeline on This Slide when timeline starts Media (ensures that the player does not start automatically)
Trigger 2
Resume timeline on This Slide when user clicks Play Button
Trigger 3
Play media when user clicks play button
So now, when the window is clicked, both the timeline and media timeline start together, and if clicked again, they stop together, keeping the timelines in sync and my buttons appearing at the right points
