Poster Frame Image in Rise video
Wanted to share that while this isn't built into Rise, you can now easily drop in a custom thumbnail/poster image using the Mighty Chrome extension which sits on top of Rise and adds a lot of little features like this! Here is a quick video that shows you how it works. So simple 🙌

Based on info at https://mighty.maestrolearning.com/, the Chrome Extension referenced above is $337 per year.

Tons of built in features that will easily save you hours upon hours of post-publish work and potentially unlock things (like this) that you couldn't easily do otherwise! My friend PhilFoss has a detailed video that walks through how you can replace the generated thumbnail image post-production as a solution as well. Again, neither built in to Rise, but adds options! https://youtu.be/gLEoTl_QE-I?si=dSUna7y3_W_-ojZ7&t=241

I found the issue is Rise is converting the thumbnail into an indexed color mode (like a gif with limited color palette) so it looks pixelated and colors shift. Should be an easy fix for Rise. Thx JohnPinkster-19 here is the vid. Till then we have these workarounds that should be noted are not officially supported by Rise (yet).
