Hi ehawkins, i've looked at your project and the problem is that there are pictures on the master slides that are obstructing the view onto the progress bar. On the master slides there are pictures above the progress bar rectangle, which you can see for example on the 4th slide in your master where picture 6.png is in the way. i would recommend to move the rectangle all the way to the bottom of your slide and then to crop or resize the pictures, like i have done in the attached project file. Hi George,

Exactly what I was looking for thank you! I do have a couple more questions if you don't mind: 

  1. My menu.progress variable only appears until the questions come up - should I still be able to get the progress bar during the questions and is there anything blocking them from appearing? 
  2. Because I want the progress bar on all 27 slides, how should I split the states up? And should I match it to the % that the menu.progress variable says when I preview the course? 

Now I've got the progress bar on all the slides, it's still not pulling through so wondering if it's something to do with the above.

    Hi ehawkins, glad i could help you. Regarding your first question i would need to take a look at your project, to figure what is going on. So if possible, please share it again. 

    Regarding the number of states: this really just depends on how fine tuned you want your progress bar to be. The number of states doesn't have to match the number of slides in your project. This approach really gives you much more flexibilty. Just think how fine tuned you want your progress bar for your project? 10 steps may be enough, or you could work with 20 or 25. Then the percentages are easier to work with, for 20 steps they would be: 0%, 5 %, 10% and so on.

      Hi Georg,

      I've attached the course, the problem I'm facing is that as soon as the progress bar gets to the questions, it skips to 100% complete. The menu.progress variable also doesn't appear on them either so I assume it's linked to the variable.

        Hi Ellie, thank you for attaching the course. I've found the problem. It's the very last trigger (100%), where in the conditions the values are 81 and 84 (i have attached a screenshot of the trigger). Once you update the conditions to If Menu.Progress = value 100, everything should work as desired.
