Publishing files - format option not showing

Hello,  I noticed a difference in the publishing option between two Storyline files, but not able to figure out why. I am using Storyline 3.  In the first screenshot, you can see "format: HTML 5...

Hi Andrew,

Great questions! I understand you'd like some information on the difference in publishing options for the two files and if that is affecting the way they are being viewed in Moodle. I'd be happy to work with you to figure things out!

First, the reason you no longer see the "HTML 5 with Flash Fallback" publishing format is that Adobe discontinued Flash at the end of 2020. That means the Story file was created with an older version of Storyline.

Next, our first troubleshooting step for possible LMS issues is to test your course in SCORM Cloud. Have you tested your course in SCORM cloud? It's an online LMS environment that can be used to figure out whether the issue is with the LMS or the Story file. If you test your course on SCORM cloud and it looks as it should, then your issue is likely LMS-based.
