Publishing Full screen

Hi

I am doing a system simulation and I want to publish in full screen, i.e the resolution that the screen was captured in. However this always shrinks it down to a smaller resolution which makes it difficult to view.

Try setting your page size of your course to the same size your recordings are in, unless that is too big a window.

Otherwise, record the simulation at the same size as your page is set up to and then move the recording window around as needed.

I always like a 1:1 ratio between recording and page size to avoid things like this.

Are you having folks interact with the simulation or just watching?

You also could create a simple Storyline course with just the simulation at the size you need.  Publish the output to a folder.  Rename story.html to index.html and bring it in as a web object into your main Storyline course--and have it appear in its own browser window when launched from your main Storyline course.

  • Hi,

I am publishing a project in storyline  via "web". Then embed it on a website, however it does not allow it to be seen in full screen. Should I do anything in storyline so people can have the option to enlarge the project to be seen in full screen. Thanks!

  • Hi Karen,

Thanks for reaching out! I see that you’ve opened a support case and are working with my teammate, Shiela. You’re in great hands! We’ll continue the conversation in your support case.
