Pull storyline screen record from a corrupt file
We attempted to record a 1-hour presentation using Storyline; however, when the file was closed, it corrupted and now we cannot get the screen recording out of the file. Does anyone know how to get ...
Hi Kimberly. If the screen recording was inserted as "Video on a single slide" you could try the following.
Make a copy of your yourfilename.story. Now change the extension of the file to .zip (ex: yourfilename.zip). Open the ZIP file and then open the folder labeled "story". Then the folder labeled "media". In there you will see a file with an ".mpeg" extension. That should be the video.
