Question I posted here marked as SPAM by the system??

I tried to post a question here about a JavaScript / TextEntry fields issue I was having.  It was immediately rejected as "spam."  See attached screenshot from my profile.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Do you know what in my question may have triggered this?  And how I can report it for review?

I want to be able to ask questions, but it's hard when their automated processes don't work correctly and posts are mislabeled.

BTW - I figured out the problem on my own and only saw the "spam" marking because I was going to delete my post ;)

Hard to know. I don't know this forum system well, but one thing that could trigger that is posting a lot of messages in a very short time. I've actually seen it when someone's finger twitched and they clicked the "Submit" button a few times in quick succession.

  • Hi JamesGregg,

Glad to see that CarlFink1 has been helping you!

We have a number of automatic SPAM filtering tools that are used within the E-Learning Heroes community, and individuals can also report a post for review using the "Report" option under the Menu.

All of those posts are reviewed by folks on the ELH team, so we can release false positives or look to remove SPAM from within the Community. I see that your JavaScript/Text Entry post is live and receiving community input.

Please let us know if you run into any setbacks moving forward.
