Question slides not automatically applying a Feedback master to layers.

Hi,

I am working on a project in Articulate 360 building multiple assessments. I have created a very simple custom template and custom feedback template. 

I am building the questions in a question bank. When I create a new question, the correct, incorrect and try again layers are created but do not use the feedback master. The information shows up all over the screen in no discernable format. When I apply the feedback master, remnants of the original slide layer remain. I am having to completely rebuild each of the three layers on every single question slide.
