quick key to insert audio
Hi all,
I really wish there's a quick key to insert audio, when there are over 100s to sometimes as much as over 500 for an entire course series, this is painstaking.
There's already a quick key to insert image, why not to insert audio?
FYI, i have already submit this as a suggestion, but i'm hoping more SL user would request this too.

It would also be great if we could drag audio files onto the timeline from an open folder - just like you can with images. I think this would increase speed and flexibility as often I am renaming audio files with the slide number prior to importing to the project.
I'd like to see a way where any menu item can be added to keyboard shortcuts or at least the Quick Access Bar. For example, I use Text to Speech a lot in early drafts and it would save a ton of time if there was a shortcut to open this.
Or better yet, be able to create your own macros e.g. Insert, Audio, Text-to-Speech, Copy from Slide Notes (as a series of steps).Another great tip, thanks!

I bulk import all my audio into the Media Library first. This can be done all at once.
Then I have the Media Library window open in one monitor, and the slides open on another monitor. This allows you to more quickly insert audio clips from the media library, plus you can preview them using the Media Library window.

You could put the insert audio on your Quick Access toolbar (right click on insert audio, add to quick access toolbar). Whenever anything is on the toolbar, the keyboard shortcut is Alt + the number of the button that it is. So in my screenshot below, inserting audio would be Alt + 4, since the audio button is the fourth button on the toolbar.
