Quickly changing the end time of a slide
Is there an easy way to change the end time of a slide. I have to import some audio files that are large. Some about 5 minutes. But my slide will only be say, 60 seconds. After i have cropped ...
I realise this is an old post but as it's the first to come up when I googled an issue I was having to shorten my story, why not update it with a resolution:
- If you have objects on your Timeline set to "Show Until End," make sure you switch that off first for all affected objects (a simple matter of right-clicking over each object and unticking Show Until End).
- Then, go to the end line of your story - at the top of the screen, where the timing rule is, and right-click on this End line, where you get the double-ended arrows.
- Then, from the options displayed, click "Fit timeline to longest object".
