Quiz in Course
Hello,
If I put a quiz in my course and want them to pass with 80% and log that way in the LMS, this is how I do it? Only reason I ask is because i have a standalone quiz called the same thing as my quiz in my course but it's not the right one! I only see the below one when I publish in LMS? How do I know if it's the right one it's pulling?
I did these steps :) I was just wondering because I embedded a quiz within my course and it was named the same as a standalone quiz and I wasn't sure which one was pulling in, but it was the correct one! Thanks again!

Hello SarahLichy,
I understand you're having trouble inserting the correct quiz for tracking purposes when publishing your Rise 360 course to LMS. Happy to help!
- Just to confirm, are you looking to capture a quiz within this specific Rise 360 course?
- Tracking a quiz from one Rise 360 course in another Rise 360 course isn't directly supported. Each Rise 360 course is designed to track its own quizzes independently, so the standalone quiz should not be pulled. You can use a Storyline block within a Rise 360 course to track quizzes, as Storyline allows for more flexible tracking options.
Here are the steps to check your Quiz settings within your Rise 360 course:
1. Navigate to the Quiz: Open the quiz you want to track within your Rise 360 course.
2. Access Settings: Click on Settings in the upper right corner of the quiz editor.
3. Adjust Passing Score: Locate the Passing Score option and ensure it's set at the desired percentage.
4. Return to Editor: Click Close to return to the quiz editor. When publishing your course, you'll want to follow these steps:
1. Publish to LMS: Click the Publish button in the upper right corner and select LMS. You'll want to be sure the correct LMS settings are selected based on your LMS requirements (SCORM 1.2, AICC, etc.)
2. Tracking Options: Under Tracking, select Track using quiz result. Click on the quiz name to view and choose other quizzes within your Rise course if not already selected.
3. Reporting Status: Depending on your LMS, you'll want to select Passed/Failed or Passed/Incomplete.- Passed/Failed: This option is ideal to track completion and success statuses. It indicates whether a learner has passed the quiz and completed the course.
- Passed/Incomplete: This option is helpful if you want to track whether a learner has passed the quiz but hasn't completed the course yet. It helps identify learners who have passed the quiz but still need to finish other course components.
- Here's a quick visual of these steps in action!
If you are still having difficulty, you can share a copy of your course with us within this thread or privately in a support case so we can take a closer look at your setup!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
