Quiz/Survey/Game with results to be in Storyline
Hello all,
I'm new to Storyline and I want to create a quiz/survey in Storyline to identify a personality type. I have progressed from paper based self calculation to Excel based auto calculation. Now I need to put it into an eLearning module.
Looking at some of the posts there has been issues getting the results in the eLearning module to show, which is what my learners need to know before progressing to identify their archetype.
The questions are not easy either. One set has a statement with 4 points to distribute to 4 options randomly. The other set has 2 statements and the learner selects 1 statement. The results are tallied in a sequence over 4 columns representing the archetypes.
Has anyone done anything like this before? Would a Game set up offer a better baseline to follow?

Hi Katie! I'm wondering if Storyline variables might be able to help you at least part of the way with this cool challenge? They're used to remember different kinds of information or actions that have happened in a project. And they can be pretty handy for giving people points and then displaying their results in an on-screen variable reference.
I've attached a very quick proof of concept for you that outlines how variables could help with a personality quiz. The project file would obviously need to be refined and polished up to be ready to share. But hopefully this quick mockup gives you a sense of how variables may be a solution.
