Quote on image - Stupid question
I am thinking there is no end quote on this because you are not sure where it would be. Just wondering if there will be control to add an end quote or remove the start quote? My clients wonder why there is just an opening quote with no close. I can use text on image for now, just curious. Thx!

We didn't add an end quote in that block type since we can't predict how much text folks would add there. Also, when the block adjusts to fit on a smaller device screen, the margins of the text area will change. I'll let our team know you'd like the ability to remove the quotation mark altogether!
I would love the ability to remove the quotation mark altogether. It looks like an error and our target audience likes the idea of the "Quote on image" but does not like the fact that it looks like you're missing the end quote. And I agree!
Agreed, would also like to see the quote removed (for this and the other quote blocks missing it)! Submitted a feature request for this, referencing this thread. Suggest anyone in agreement does the same.

Hello, Lisa. We haven't made changes to any of the quote blocks to date.
I'd like to support this request to remove the quotes from the "quote on image". I think I've had this feedback about dozen times from my SME's questioning why there is only a single quote, and then asking if it can be removed. Know you guys are working hard so, as they say in the classics - "patience is a virtue". Take care
I agree - Remove the quote mark. It is a constant argument with clients.
My SME's love the 'quote on image' functionality however, they all would like the 'end quote' to be added as it looks like an error. When I advise that I can't add an 'end quote' or remove the 'start quote', I am advised to not use this feature.
Really hope this can be fixed and soon!!

So I see that the Quote Marks on an image have been "in process" to either be removed (or how about just adding the end quote mark?) for over 3 years.
I would really love to use that block, but it is obvious that the fix isn't going to happen. So, is the alternative to add a quote on an image in Storyline and bring it over?
Hi - voicing my request for this feature as well. Not only is the single quotation mark confusing to many of our stakeholders, but it causes problems when we translate courses into other languages that don't use the English quotation mark symbol (e.g., French angle quotes).
Has this feature been added to a roadmap yet?

Hi Annie,
There is a simple solution.
Edit the Quote on image block.
Delete all text from the Quote field.
Put your text in the Name field.
Add your own quotation marks at the beginning and end.
Preview the block.
