The Storyline 360 x64 BETA version is moving towards the same feature set as Storyline 360, but has not yet implemented screen recording (I don't think). There will not be different features between the two. SL 360 x64 is build on different architecture to take advantage of 64bit computing. You should experience faster processing and better stability in future with the 64bit version.

I have found the courses to be cross compatible where screen recordings are not used.
