Recovering deleted blocks
Curious if there's a way to recover deleted block from Rise. Somehow several blocks disappeared from one of my courses and I'm hoping to recover them. Is there a version history that I ca access to track these down? Thanks!
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

I'd like to add my name to the list of users who is unhappy that there is no solution to the undo feature. That button disappears way too quickly and is too difficult to see. An errant click and content you have been diligently working on is simply GONE. With multiple contributors, it can be hard to get the right verbiage back.

Just accidentally over wrote the content of a block by hitting ctrl v instead of ctrl c. Not having a better undo function is pretty unforgivable in terms of UX. I am fuming.

If you are working on a text block, Ctrl+Z works as an UNDO.

There is an undo in the text controls for when that happens.
As Karl mentioned, you can use the Control + z keyboard shortcut to undo deleted text. You can also use the Undo button in the floating toolbar.

Good to know, thank you.

It's true that it's a very frustrating situation when you hit delete and all your work is gone. Is there any update on developing such feature maybe?
I can see that this article has been opened for 2 years now...

Has this been resolved. This just happened to me and the undo button did not appear in my Rise block. How is it that this hasn't been created yet, like autosave for your Storyline documents? Seriously, for all the money that is paid by my employer this should be at the forefront. Very frustrating Storyline, get it together!!!!!!!!!

It is absolutely shameful that after two years this issue hasn't been addressed. Get with it!

How do we revert back to an earlier version? Or at lease undo a text delete?
I inadvertently highlighted a section of text and back-spaced it out of existence. Really crappy!
I guess the only way is to save it constantly with version numbers? that is a time consuming process that will sure slow down the work flow and value of Articulate Rise

Uploading to Articulate Review often is a good safe guard for tracking and saving text updates.
Hi there, Brian. Command + Z will undo text edits, but it will not bring back a deleted block.
When you delete a block, you'll see an Undo button at the bottom of the screen for several seconds. If you no longer see that button, you'll want to recreate the block again.
