Refreshing the quiz results page is taking me back to the start of the quiz.
Hi Jose, Thanks for your response and sorry for the late reply as I am starting today after the year-end break. Regarding your points:
1. I am refreshing the page using the browser refresh button as we use our LMS in Google Chrome.
2. The purpose of refreshing the page: I am building a 20-question-long assessment for our dealership staff, and I expect some of them to leave it in the middle of the assessment to go and grab coffee or do something else and come back and restart it. This is partly due to the work culture at dealerships. Some of them might do it in one go. But the ones getting off in the middle of it might refresh the page before starting the assessment again(as expected). Hence, I am thinking along those lines to fix this behaviour. The LMS is designed to bookmark the courses, and it is behaving perfectly with other courses; not sure why this one is causing the issue. If I am on the results page or any other page, the refreshing should keep me on the same page regardless.
To your knowledge, what would cause the behaviour of the course to not land on the same page where we left off (after restarting the course or refreshing the page)? What would make it land on another page?
Hello Shaun,
If you are seeing issues when your learners exit a course and resume their progress, there's a possibility that your course might be exceeding its suspend_data limit. This article explains what suspend_data is and how it affects course progress when a course is resumed:
Can I ask which SCORM format (SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004) are you using so I can test on my end to see if I can spot anything out of the ordinary with your course's suspend data? You can also check this yourself by enabling your course's LMS debug mode. You can enable the debug mode of your course and then attempt to replicate the behavior to see if any errors are logged when the course is resumed.
Additionally, were you able to replicate the behavior using the link that I shared? The issue might be specific to your LMS and testing using the the link can help confirm if this is the case.
