Remove background glow from Radio button
Hi All
How do I remove the glow from the radio button?(See glow.jpg)
I know by going into states I can edit the radio button colour and boarder but I cant see anything to edit or remove the glow? On screenshot1.jpg I have put a red arrow to where I can edit the radio button but theres no where to remove the glow. Also on the blue arrow there is no glow on this area either?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Liam,
Thanks for reaching out, and I appreciate those screenshots!
It's hard to pinpoint this glowing mystery without seeing your .story file, but it sounds like a known bug where the glow effect on radio buttons doesn't disappear when applying Radio Styles.
Workaround: format each radio button first—before selecting the correct answer. Example here.
We'd be happy to investigate this further with you! You can share your file publicly here or privately here!

Worked for me thanks!

Are there any updates on this bug being fixed?
If not, could someone provide a different workaround? The workaround above isn't working for me (project attached) and the link to the example is broken.
Thanks!
Hi Sam!
Thanks so much for reaching out. I wanted to jump in and provide a different workaround for you!
Within your file, I went into the States panel for each checkmark and removed the Hover State.
Here's a quick look at what I did:
This will remove that glow that you are currently experiencing. Attached you'll find the updated version of the .story file.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thank you for the work arounds, but when is a fix coming? Is this already on the list? Do I need to submit something?
I've already created all my question slides and it is going to take forever to fix all of these one at a time.Hi JenniferRandolp!
Sorry to hear this bug is impacting you as well!
I noticed most of the replies in this discussion are a bit dated, so I wanted to make sure I fully understand what you're experiencing. Others in the thread have reported the Glow Effect on Radio Buttons persists when applying Radio Styles. Is this in line with the behavior you're noticing as well?
Also, it would be helpful to see a copy of the .story file that's giving you trouble! Do you mind sharing that here in the discussion or privately through a support case?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

We are experiencing this issue as well. The hover state shows no highlights when inspected. However, there is a glow around the radio button/checkbox when previewed. We can't share our files, however, this is easy to replicate. Create a new file/quiz, then try removing the glow effect.
We would really appreciate a fix to this 4 year old problem.Hi eLearningTeam-6,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you're experiencing with your course!
It sounds like there's no glow around the radio button in edit mode, but it does appear when the course is previewed.
- I'm curious, did you use a theme from the Content Library on your slide?
- Is the glow affecting every answer choice or a specific one?
I created a sample slide but didn't see the glow on the radio button when previewed. I'm happy to adjust my course to try and replicate what you're seeing! I also want to double-check that you have No Glow selected. You can check by selecting a radio button on your slide > Format on the top ribbon > Shape Effect > Glow > No Glow.
Please let me know if this helps! I also want to point out that we can review your file privately in a support case if you're comfortable with that. We delete all files once troubleshooting is complete.
