Remove course cover page?
Is there a way to remove the cover page altogether? I'm referring to the first page you see with the Start Course button, Details link, and content areas listed below. When my learner clicks to view the course, I want it to open directly to the first lesson.

Hi Alyssa - thank you for your post.
Just to put a bit of context around my own "+1", I run a reasonably large training company and we're considering using Rise more widely because it does create lovely output, and is also a pleasure to use.
However, we are creating individual modules rather than set courses. These modules can be combined in different ways within a variety of LMS and LCMS.
Rise lets us do this by hiding the menu, and essentially creating one module per course, but the cover page breaks the flow as people move from one module to another. We could kludge it by pointing to an HTML page within the module, but that's a nasty solution. Far better if your team are able to make it optional.
Many thanks indeed!
Richard

How can this feature be so popular and completely disregarded by Rise? So disappointing to see it has persisted into the Beta release.
Yes, there is a workaround, but like many people I have created hundreds of micropages that can be stiched together in multiple ways. That workaround is very onerous compared to a toggle switch.
Please resolve this. How can you have been so busy for 4 years that this can't get on the backlog?
Posting this whole thread in the public domain to raise awareness... Let's see if the Twitterverse can help us.

At this point I just wish we could get a little acknowledgement and explanation. I'm a reasonable guy and if Articulate would just say "This isn't a current priority" or "we aren't sure how to fix this" - I would be fine with it.

In Rise360 there doesn't seem to be a way to do this yet. If your SCORM holds onto learner data, they should only see it the one time.
I'd personally like to see the cover page be optional as well.

I figured out a way around this that works for us -- hoping that Articulate doesn't change it though.
We use Google Cloud to host our courses - and then call on them from Thinkific or Teachable, primarily.
On the hosted page (not preview), click the "Let's Begin" button, and copy the link address of the launched page.
Then, use THAT link as your content URL in your LMS.
It skips the landing page and gives our students direct access to the content.
Hope this helps some others solve this problem.

Ah, interesting. I had assumed that wouldn't work because every time I had heard it mentioned, it was in relation to SCORM. But I'm guessing you're launching with xAPI instead of SCORM to avoid the Cross Domain issues for cloud-based storage?
I've got a fully customised LMS solution, with xAPI content streamed from an S3 Bucket (AWS storage). I might give that a go and see whether the reporting works properly.
Thanks @JoshMassey

@Josh Massey -- in this case, do you use the URL in a multi-media file? (Rather than uploading the zip file in a multi-media lesson?)

I thought the one of the main motivations for Microlearnings was allowing us to disable the course cover; not supporting a toggle on that seems like a huge mistake.

Hi, is there any update on this feature?
- KarlMullerCommunity Member
This feature has been requested several times before, but it's currently not possible to do this in Rise.

+1 as another enterprise organization that needs to integrate Rise modules into an LMS without it looking like a separate tool. Please make this smooth for end users, Articulate.

Is there any update on this feature? I have found threads asking for this feature from about 4/5 years ago. We are also needing this feature to integrate interactions in our LMS, even when we create them as "Microlearning" this isn't an option

+1 Need feature to remove cover page to make our LMS integration seamless. Going to have to rebuild courses and drop articulate if we don't get this feature. This feature has been requested for the last 4/5 years with no movement!
