Removing Highlight from Marker Tool Text box?

I select my marker tool and add text, when I preview my text has a black background behind it - How can I remove it?

Hello,

For some reason the 'Pulse/Swirl' feature of the markers.  Do you know why this is happening?  Thanks.

    Hi Indrani, not sure I understand your issue...you want the pulse/swirl feature or you don't?

    At the moment you have them set to pulse but you can switch that option when you select the marker > format tab
