Removing or Hiding the Previous/Next Buttons?
Hi There! I'm using Storyline to put together a (really cool) museum-style interaction that will play on a touch screen computer at a historical site! I'd like to essentially make the interaction play full screen at 1280X720, so I've gone in and set all of the player elements as transparent. Here's my question: I have gotten rid of everything but the previous and next buttons- how do I turn these off?
Thanks!

Hi Ronny,
I went ahead and submitted a Support case on your behalf, so that someone from our team will be in touch shortly to request your file. The case # is 00354619 (for my reference) and I'll follow along so that I can update this thread as well.

Hi Ashley,
I received the support case email - thank you!
I've now uploaded the .story file.
Thanks Ronny for the update - I see that Jayem has been assigned to your case, and I'm following along.
Hi Ronny,
I see that Jayem was able to reproduce the issue, and they're looking into a fix within Storyline. In the meantime, he suggested the following: To workaround this issue, make sure that all the built-in controls at the bottom of the player is disabled. So far, all of the controls on your project is disabled, except for slide 1.95 where the Previous button is still checked. Once you unchecked this and preview the project, it seems to work.
If you have any other questions about this, feel free to reply to the email Jayem sent you and let us know if you need anything else!

Hi,
I am having the same issue. I created custom Prev/Next/Submit buttons and disabled all of the built-in controls but the Previous/Next buttons still appear once the Review Quiz button is selected.

Yes same here. Everything is fine until I submit my answer and go back to review, then I see the default grey buttons. Really irritating as they are turned off for that screen (all screens actually)... grrr. Destroys the illusion of bespoke course design...
Hi Dena, and welcome to Heroes!
What we were able to find within Ronny's file was one slide had the slide properties to "Custom" and the Previous button was checked on there. That will override the main player settings, so you'll want to check all your slides to ensure that you have the player settings to default and that will pick up whatever you've set on the Player templates. If you're still having difficulty after checking those settings, please feel free to share your .story file for us to look at here or share it with us privately.

Hi Ashley,
Thank you for your help! I hadn't disabled the Submit button on the individual questions in the question bank and that was turning on the Prev/Next buttons!
Nice Dena! Glad you get it figured out.

Hi,
I tried what Dena said "Thank you for your help! I hadn't disabled the Submit button on the individual questions in the question bank and that was turning on the Prev/Next buttons!" which is to replace the default SUBMIT button with the custom made SUBMIT button.
I had turn off the "previous" and "submit" at the setting at base layer. But the PREV button still comes out after I interact with all the question and came back to review it. The most obvious one is the first question as it is the first slide.
I have attached a dummy storyline for your review.
Please help urgent!
Regards,
Emalyn
