Removing Storyline Templates Seems Impossible

Over time our team has built up a long list of templates that are now out dated and do not need to be used. According to any information I can find on here or google, you should be able to remove them by deleting them out of our "Storyline Templates" folder on our computer within the "My Articulate Projects" folder. However when I have done this, they are still all showing on my Storyline "My Templates" window when I go to choose which template to insert.

I'm looking for guidance on how to remove unwanted/outdated Storyline Templates effectively.

    Hi Hayley,
A possible fix: After deleting the templates as laid out in your post (which is the recommended process), have you tried emptying your caches... before opening storyline?  That has worked for me a few times.

  • Thank you that seems to have worked. I used this article to show me how to clear the right cache https://community.articulate.com/discussions/discuss/storyline-cache-files/826956
