Reset Incorrect Questions Only (Freeform)

Hi Team!

I was hoping to get a hand with my project I'm working on. I have a tight timeframe for it to be done by this Friday (currently Wednesday here).

The project is a reaccreditation for learners and it's got a lot of questions in it, somewhere along 130 odd. The learners need to get 90% of the questions correct to pass - this works as intended. However, if they fail to reach 90% they need to go back and try each question they got wrong again.

This is where the issue presents itself - I have 'Reset only incorrect questions' enabled yet when I click 'Retry' I'm sent back to the start of the quiz. On top of this, when retrying you can get 15 or so questions in before the quiz resets itself, getting stuck in a loop.

Any tips on this would be super helpful. Unfortunately I won't be able to share the working file due to the nature of the content, which can make it tricky.

As the title suggests, the questions I have created are Freeform as well. I have tried fixing this by putting them into a Question Bank, but no luck.

I also have all the slides set to 'Reset to initial state' when revisiting due to animations I have setup.

Hello Max, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Thanks for chiming in with the additional clue that your slides are set to Reset to initial state when revisiting. You'll want to be sure you have your slide revisiting behavior set to Automatically decide, so it doesn't confuse that Retry button trigger.

It's difficult to suggest other ways to reset the animations to their initial state without seeing what you have going on in your file. We'd be happy to sign an NDA and dig in so we can tailor something for you!

    Thanks for your response Becca!

I think given the timeframe I have left I'm going to try a different approach. I'm going to remove the animations I have from all slides and incorporate layers instead. This is my first build solo so I made some not so smart choices. But we live and learn right?

    Thanks again!
