Resetting the slides 'viewed' in the menu bar
I have developed a simple quiz with 20 questions. After submitting, I am allowing my learners to retake the quiz. Everything is working as designed except that all the slides in the main menu still show as 'viewed', or checked.
Is there a way to reset them to as 'not viewed' without a check? (I'm assuming it is a variable?)

There isn't a way to reset the menu 'check marks' that you are referring to because these indicate that a slide has been visited, and that condition will still be true even during a quiz retry attempt.
Although unsupported, you can hide the check icon entirely by following the workaround suggested by a member of the community here.
