restart action not resetting menu and seekbar.
Hello Rajendra Korde,
I understand that you're unable to share your file with us here. Since this is the case, I went ahead and opened a support case on your behalf so we can have one of our support engineers work with you to troubleshoot the behavior. You can share your file privately with them through the support case. You're in good hands, and someone from our team will be in touch shortly!
Just wondering if a fix was found for this? I also have noticed that when users restart a course after failing a quiz they are brought back to the first slide, but they can still look through the entire course. If they close out and relaunch the course, those slides they clicked on appear unlocked, even if they can't pass the course correctly. It confuses users.

Hi KaylaBauder!
Sorry to hear you're also having trouble with the playback of your Storyline course!
What you've described is the expected behavior for Storyline content that has been uploaded to an LMS. When a learner closes and relaunches the course, the LMS restores the previous session based on 'Suspend Data'. This data stores elements such as which Slides a learner visited and their progress. This means learners will see previously visited Slides unlocked, even though they technically failed and restarted the Quiz. Storyline is correctly restoring the previous session, but not in the way the author might have intended.
Currently, Storyline does not support a feature to force the re-restriction of course navigation, after it's been relaunched in an LMS. However, we are tracking a feature request to introduce this functionality.
I've included your voice in the report, and we'll be sure to notify you if we release a future enhancement that helps!

It's more complex than what you're doing now, but I've gotten around that problem by not allowing the user to navigate using the menu. I make them navigate the course through using the controls that I provide them and I keep track of their progress through variables, states of buttons, and so on. One advantage to that is that they're able to retake the course from the beginning without the course remembering any prior decisions or paths.

Our folks are used to the menu, but that is certainly another great option I could try.
