Restricting Navigation in Rise
It appears that navigation in Rise can be restricted either by setting the Restrict Navigation option, or by adding quizzes that must be passed before progressing. With either option, in preview a learner can navigate freely over the sections already completed.
What happens when the lesson is deployed in an LMS (specifically SuccessFactors)? After the learner has completed a lesson (that contains quizzes and/or restricted navigation), when they re-do the lesson, can they freely navigate or will they again be restricted to completing the sectionsfrom the beginning?

Hi markPPA!
Happy to help!
I can't speak to any configurations that can be adjusted within SuccessFactors LMS. However, I would like to highlight a bug in Rise 360, that may get in your way. This bug affects the publishing format of SCORM 2004 (2nd and 3rd edition). When publishing to those standards, the bug causes courses to always start from the beginning when relaunched, overriding the restricted navigation setting you may have in place. To workaround this I suggest publishing to SCORM 2004 (4th edition), or SCORM 1.2 where the bug cannot be observed.
Using a sample Rise 360 course set to Restricted Navigation, published to SCORM 2004 4th edition, I tested it in SCORM Cloud. The course allowed me to move freely through lessons after completing the course once, then relaunching.
I've included your voice in the bug report we are currently tracking. We'll be sure to notify you once a fix is in place, and SCORM 2004 2nd and 3rd editions are fully functional again.
I'll also open the floor to other SuccessFactors LMS users in the community to share their insights with you!

Thanks very much Steven.
Various things I have read say that after completing a "menu restricted" Rise lesson in an LMS, the menu is still "locked" when you re-try. My experience with SCORM cloud however suggestes that after completion of a lesson, upon re-trying, it remembers that you have completed the lesson so all menu items are freely available. I just want to get a definitive answer, although I guess it may depend on LMS settings.
