Restricting Text Entry Field to One Character and No Numbers/Symbols

Can anyone assist with what the JavaScript code is to prevent more than one character on text entry and perhaps also prevent numbers/symbols from being entered in a crossword puzzle? The biggest desire is to prevent more than one character from being entered. I have attached the Storyline file if anyone could help with code for just one of the text entry fields, I can follow suit from there. Thanks in advance!
