Restrictions due to AI?

I’m trying to duplicate a lesson from one Rise course to another. Both courses are owned by me and were created using AI.

When I attempt to copy a block or a full lesson between the two, it doesn’t work—the courses don’t appear in the selection list. The same issue occurs when I try to copy or import a lesson; the other course simply doesn’t show up.

Additionally, I’m noticing that when I click the ellipsis on these AI-created courses, there are fewer options available compared to non–AI-created courses.

Can you clarify why these limitations exist and whether there’s a restriction specific to AI-generated courses?

If you are the owner of both the source and destination Rise courses, you should be able to copy a Lesson from one course to another. We use AI as well, and have not seen this issue.

  • Hi JenniferHalter,

Great to see that Karl has been helping you.

As he shared, once an AI-generated Rise course has been successfully created, it behaves like any other course with respect to copying lessons, blocks, and importing content. Using Google Chrome, I tested our Manage Blocks feature, and Rise displayed a list of my recently created courses to choose from. Does the course you're looking for appear when using the search tool within the Select Course window?

Also, are you experiencing this behavior across multiple supported browsers, and after clearing your browser's cache?

To your follow-up question, the ellipsis menu contains eight options that remain identical between standard and AI-generated courses.

Do you mind sharing a screenshot or screen recording of the discrepancy you're seeing on your end? If you prefer to share that privately, please connect with our team through a support case.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
