Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry that you ran into an issue with your drag item state when the object snaps back to its start point. This issue has not bubbled up to the top of the priority list. We have reported it to our team and continue to watch it to evaluate customer impact and its impact on courses. The number of customers and depth of impact are two elements that help us prioritize bugs and fixes.
Really though? I'd kindly like to point out the date of this thread goes back several years.
