Return to previous versions of Rise lessons after edits have been made
Is it possible to return to an older version of a course after edits have been made? We can see the old version in Review, but what if we decided we didn't like the changes that have been made and wanted to return the Rise course to two versions ago (so that it is editable in Rise)?
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

+1! This should really be able to save source files locally or have a versioning system. We often need to revert back to older versions and can't have 50 duplicated courses in our Rise interface every time we want to make a change and save a new version.

It's actually remarkable that this is not implemented yet. Just managed to "slip" and delete a whole flipcard deck :'(

I would also appreciate versioning. I often duplicate courses and use similar formatting (its easier than blocks) but sometimes I forget I have worked on a section that I need and end up deleting it. It's incredibly frustrating.

I would really like this versioning. Running with various similar courses I often make a change to the wrong course.

I'd like to vote for versioning too. Any update on this request?
Hi there, Adam. No updates, yet.

Hi, I'd like to add a vote here from our company as well, Salesforce. We really need some form of version control for Rise modules, as others in this thread have mentioned, especially as we're embarking on a huge migration project that will require keeping track of Rise module production and working copies. If version control isn't possible it would be helpful to at least be able to create sub folders in the left folder structure. Many thanks!!

I'd like to revert to a version that I had shared previously in Review - is it possible to restore that version?
Hi Amy,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry, you can't revert to a version you've already published to make any changes or edit that version. The version that is saved to Review is only for sharing and getting feedback.
If we make any changes to this that help, we'll let you know!

Yes out team is trying to figure out how to manage all of these files and versions of files. Without being able to download an actual source file for RISE this is incredibly awkward and frustrating

I'm adding a vote for this feature request on behalf of the Development team at my company too. I'm going to start copying blocks of text to a document before I change/replace them -- but this is like re-creating a storyboard document and doubles the work "just in case".

My goodness. Three years for an obvious feature that should have been baked in from the start? Come on, let's get this feature added ASAP. We're a state agency and keeping .zip files of each version isn't practical (we lack cloud storage options).
