Returning to base layer without starting text-to-speech again

Hello

I have a slide with about 5 layers plus the base layer. I want to be able to click an object to go to a certain layer and when that layer is finished return to base layer to select another object, etc. When I return to the base layer I don't want the audio to play all over again I just want to see it and be able to click on objects to go to the next layer. Hope this makes sense.

  • Hi, Donna.

    Thank you for reaching out!

If you are using Show/Hide layers, the audio on the base layer shouldn't play again, since the timeline is not re-starting.

If your project has a different setup than that, can you share the .story file so we can offer specific suggestions for your scenario?

Hi Maria, thank you that was my problem I needed to hide layer once played. It works now. Thanks again
