RF Device as an Input for a Storyline interaction
I have storyline 360. I've recently been tasked with creating a simulation of work for distribution center employees who use a hand-held scanner to scan barcodes while working in a Warehouse Management System. We aim to simulate the actual work using screenshots and text input fields. The learner would use the hand-held scanner to scan a predetermined bar code, and the simulation would respond to the input received from the scanner. I have two questions regarding this project.
1. Is it possible to use an RF device as an input source for a Storyline project? I've done this in Adobe Captivate, but I've never tried it with Storyline.
2. What object (text entry field?) would I need to create this interaction, assuming I have screenshots of the real-life environment?

How did you do this in Captivate? Did you have a JavaScript library to connect to the scanner?
