Rise - Collapsible Sections in Left Menu
Hi there,
I noticed today that my Rise courses now have the ability for the user to collapse the sections of the left menu. This is a great addition! Thanks!
Two questions...
1) Is it possible to have the menu launch with all of them collapsed rather than all open? I didn't see a way to do this.
2) Any chance the same functionality will be available for the menu that is on the Overview page?

Hello everyone,
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Automatically collapse sections in sidebar and compact navigation.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

How do we put the collapsible sections in the left menu?

Type a section header in the Add a lesson title placeholder, then press Shift+Enter to make it a section header. Let me know if that answers your question!
Yes, please!! We have several use cases for this and clients asking. I'm adding my voice to the chorus. Please add this capability of begining courses with sections collapsed :)

Thank you, everyone, for letting us know what would make Rise 360 better for you! I don't have an update at this time, but we're still actively tracking the requests for this feature. We'll post an update in this discussion if we add this option.
Thanks for any updates on this. A collapsible menu on the side upon the start of the course would be a significant improvement. Feedback from our end users when consuming content in Rise supports our request. Aside from a "clean" menu look and feel, it is less overwhelming for an end-user when seeing the course content. Thank you for your consideration.
