Rise 360: Save learner progress in LMS

Hi -

I am about to publish (into our LMS) a fairly large rise course.  I need to be sure progress is saved for the learner.  Any setting I need to select when publishing?  Any need to knows here?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Heather,

All of the relevant settings are on the EXPORT page.

Export for LMS, using a SCORM standard supported by your LMS. Most will support SCORM 1.2.

Choose your Tracking and Reporting options.

Be sure to enable the Exit Course Link.

  • And to note, the default behavior in Rise when restarting a course is to resume at the beginning of the lesson where the learner left off!

  • with new More feature option added to publishing the course, is there any change to the lerner course and bookmaring of the audio/video works now?

  • Hi SibaPrasad!

When learners launch the newly updated course in your LMS, their progress will be reset back to 0%. That means video and audio bookmarking will be reset, and they will need to review that media again.

However, if they already completed a quiz and the quiz data is sent to your LMS, their quiz data will be retained.
