Rise 360: Uploaded cover picture, showing in sidebar very dark

I have uploaded a picture as cover photo in the theme "Horizon". 
Unfortunately, this is displayed very dark in the navigation sidebar.
I used the sidebar "Light with image"

 

Can someone help me?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand the sidebar image appears much darker than the cover photo using the Horizon theme. I tested this out on my end and saw the same result. The Light with image setting will make the cover photo appear slightly dimmed, but the rest of the navigation side bar, is light.

    Here's a workaround to achieve a similar look using the Rise theme:

    • Upload your cover photo image, and choose Center Overlay
    • Next to Cover Image, select Edit, then Overlay
    • Select Light, and which percentage you would like (I chose 30%)
