Rise 360 vs. Rise.com

Can somebody tell me the difference between Rise 360 and the Rise product on Rise.com? And/or why Rise has its own website?

  • Can Rise.com be integrated with other systems and content (for example, Outlook, Teams, YouTube, and so on)?

Not really.  You'd have to set up some serious API, and then learners still have to go to the rise.com site to see it.  You can embed YouTube.  Can't really link outlook/teams to it. It's a standalone thing, with some highly technical API that has very little documentation.

Hello Phil! Rise.com is an all-in-one system, and the training you create is hosted and tracked right in Rise.com.

We'd love to talk more about your colleague's needs, though. Can you ask them to start a chat by clicking on the chat icon right in their Rise team? Thanks!

No point, we have had word from support that there is no way of copying or exporting from the RISE LMS version to the Rise Articualte Version. in a normal day to day thats fine as we do not use rise LMS, the issue arose due to it not being clearly sign posted that if you start creating a RSIE LMS course you can't do anthing with but host it in the RISE LMS and the fact that the free trial link for the RISE LMS is on the RISE 360 promo page.

  • Why Articulate chose to brand their lmS service with a similar name as Rise 360 is beyond me. I have seen this create confusion amongst users since it launched. You'd think they would name the products to be more intuitive to the end users.

      Hi Mary,

You cannot export a Rise 360 course as an MP4 video. You can learn more on how to share your courses here

I have a teammate that I told to use "RISE 360" to start a trial to create content until we could get the PO for a license. He mistakenly got a trial to "RISE" the authoring/LMS tool. He spent three weeks working in RISE only to find out once the PO went through that not only can he not get that content over to RISE 360, he can't export it. Its 3 weeks of LOST WORK. No where within the trial process do they explain the differences between the two. This is FRAUD. Its the same company, their engineering teams should have a solution to this or there messaging should change. It makes me angry enough to almost go learn Captivate so we can take all of our business elsewhere.

  • Hi there, Kathleen. First, I'm sorry you've had a negative experience with Rise.com. I see that you worked with Lea in Rise to talk about the differences between Rise 360 and Rise.com. You're right that there isn't a public Share link in Rise.com like in Rise 360.

For other Rise.com users following along: If you have a specific use case for your Rise.com content, we want to hear about it and see how we can help! You can reach Rise specialists by chatting with us right in Rise.com.
