RISE Collaboration - outside of team
Hi, we have a 360 teams account and can collaborate within our own company team but I'm wondering if its possible to collaborate outside of the organisation/team?
Example - today I tried to add a "collaborator" that sat within another client company, and the admin panel said "This user does not have a Team Account".
Not sure if they have a team account within their own organisation or a single user licence but it would be good to be able to add other people outside of my team etc. As long as they have a licence why are we limiting who can collaborate on projects?
Thanks.

Yay Articulate for totally missing the point!

Seriously. We are already paying for the software. Why can't we collaborate with others who are also paying for Articulate 360 without using another seat? This makes now sense- everyone is already paying.

Alyssa, is there a place where we can request this functionality? We have lots of freelancers we work with that do not have a Team account and need to share templates.

Hi Dawn,
This link shows the feature differences between Freelance and Teams Accounts:
Hi Paul,
Collaborators don't have to be on the same team; they just need to have an Articulate 360 Teams subscription. It sounds like the individual you were trying to share it with isn't on a team? You could always send them a copy of your Rise course, and then you'll both maintain separate copies of the course. Here's a bit more detail on the differences between Collaborative authoring and Send a copy.

Hi Ashley, Its a workaround but it would be nice for articulate to open up collaboration with all its benefits to anyone with a licence. A lot of companies do use freelancers so that option would be very beneficial.
Thanks!

Is there any update to this? As Paul noted, we work with freelancers. She has her own account, is not part of our team and we would like to collaborate so she can build scenarios for us directly in a Rise tutorial that's already established, rather than having two copies.
Hello, Donna! The best way to collaborate with a freelancer on a project is to add them to your Articulate 360 Teams account. If you don't have an open seat available, then your freelancer can send a copy of the course to you, but you won't be able to collaborate on it together.

So the way to make collaboration in RISE work is to pay for a seat for someone who owns their own business and is already paying to use Articulate 360? Makes TOTAL sense - to Articulate perhaps. Not to me.

Hi Cynthia,
Anyone that has a Articulate 360 Teams account, can collaborate with any person that also has a teams account (even outside their own team or organization).
Collaboration is not available to anyone that has a Freelance/Personal Articulate 360 account.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to "Send a Copy" of a course that is editable to a recipient who has a free Trial Version of Articulate? I'm trying to send a copy to someone with a trial version and Articulate isn't recognizing their email address.

Hi there, Julie! Yes, it is possible to send a copy of a course to a Trial account. You can follow the steps in this article.
If you're still having trouble, would you mind sharing a screenshot of the error so we can better understand what's happening? Thanks!
