Rise Course - Random Red Dot won't go away
When I upload my logo to the cover page, there are dots on one of my colors. It's a clear pattern; I think it's how Rise is reading the color of the PNG, as it's fine in my preview. I used RGB in illustrator. Any ideas?
Iain, the dots you see is known as 'dithering' where the image is being compressed with a limited color palette to make the file size smaller (and quicker to load for your users.) To avoid this, you could try saving as an SVG out of illustrator, or save as png using _NOPROCESS_ in the filename to avoid any image compression, some discussion on this trick here:
