Rise Folder Permissions

Hello - I have noticed something odd about how Rise sets permissions and am wondering if there is a fix for it. 

I am the owner of a team folder and I have assigned 2 team members as managers. 

When either of those team members creates a new subfolder and files within that, the other team member automatically inherits the "manager status" I gave them for the parent folder. However, I only get editor status, even though I own the parent folder. 

Can someone from Articulate advise as to whether there is a solution for this? Ideally I too should inherit manager status of subfolders and files within my own parent folder... At the moment, I need to be manually assigned as a manager for each new sub folder AND each new course within (making me manager of the sub folder doesn't automatically make me a manager of the courses within).
