Rise not Marking Image Decorative
Currently, Articulate Rise, every time we click the image alt text icon, clearly says "If it's decorative, leave it blank". So, I've tried that, and it does not make the image decorative.
Instead, when I go through the lesson with the JAWS screen reader, a long string of random numbers and letters gibberish is read. This means the Accessibility course I'm authoring is, um, not accessible.
I've submitted a support ticket, but I wondered if anyone else has seen this?

What happens when you publish the course? I don't think it's recommended to test with the screen reader while you're in edit or preview mode. Your screen recording seems to show you still in edit mode. I would try publishing for Web, and seeing if JAWS still reads those numbers.
Hi ChrysDean!
Glad to see Elizabeth has been helping you!
Great move on opening a support case as well. I see that my teammate Robby is handling your case, and replied to your e-mail with additional insight. As he shared:
In the video you sent, I noticed that the mouse icon changes to a zoom icon, which indicates that the zoom image feature is enabled. This causes the screen reader to still read the object even though the alt text is blank because it is going to be an interactive element. That said, you just need to disable that feature so that the screen reader will skip the image. Here is a screenshot for your reference.
If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to reconnect with Robby through your case!
