Rise preview link for participants

Hi Community,  Out of interest, has anyone used the Rise preview link for a small number of participants? We don't need to capture any tracking and the course has a very short shelf life. Thanks...

 I think I am seeing consistently that Articulate RECOMMENDS we use webhosting but are not being clear about what the limitations of the Preview option are. I do not have means for webhosting.

I see above a staff person noting that you MONITOR for high traffic to preview links?  Does this mean there is a point at which you would step in or object?

Also, staff are noting that preview will not track progress, but neither will webhosting.  Comparing the two options side by side I am seeing no differences, other than one is possible within my orgs infrastructure and one is not.

More clear information about why Preview would NOT work for learners (or if there is a volume limitation, #) and what the difference/benefits are for webhosting would be very helpful.
