RISE Scenarios Cannot Advance

Hi all,

The RISE scenarios in my courses (both new and many years old) stopped working. These scenarios often use TEXT as the first block and DIALOGUE as the second and third block,  etc., even though there is not a response required in those subsequent blocks ... just a CONTINUE button appears.

Today, those scenarios no longer present the CONTINUE button on the second and third section, etc. Rather, no button appears and the scenario halts.

Worse yet, if I have navigation restricted then the RISE CONTINUE button below the scenario never unlocks and the user is permanently stuck. Attached is a simple screenshot that shows the missing button.

Is this a recent, universal error in Articulate RISE?

  • Hi everyone,

Thanks for reaching out about the issue with the Continue button in a Rise 360 scenario block. I appreciate you opening support cases with our team.

You may have already heard from our Support Engineers that our product team resolved the problem quickly. I’m sharing that update here as well for the benefit of others who might come across this thread.

If you run into any other issues, feel free to let us know. We're always happy to help!

I have contacted two other RISE developers and they are having the same issue. Do we know when this might be fixed?

We can go in and change all of these "dialogues" to "text" but I have approximately one hundred scenarios, so
    1) new modules in existing scenarios would look different than previous modules.
    2) as the modules get updated, we need to change each of them to get the product to work
    3) some of our clients will not like the change from a dialogue-speech-bubble look-and-feel.

I didn't know that the chats were not monitored. I just submitted a case. Thank you, Judy!

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can. 🙂

By the way, the staff responds to quite a few posts here. I don't think they open every single discussion, though. Fortunately, the link to support is in the community's Welcome message.

    Hi Judy,
I did submit a case, but posting on the forums sometimes brings attention to universal bug/retired-feature items and can ferrett out workarounds, etc.

having the same issue. submitted a ticket as well. Not sure why they updated it like that. Going back to fix all the glitches by switching to text over dialogue is going to be a headache. Really hoping that this gets fixed ASAP so we dont need to compromise the dialogue option.
