RISE Timeline Interactivity - Not Getting Completed

Hello,

I’ve created a course in Rise that contains several lessons. In Lesson 2, I’ve used the Timeline interactive block, which includes 24 events. The issue is that this particular lesson does not reach full completion—it only goes up to 75%. As a result, learners are unable to receive completion for the course.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with the Timeline interaction not registering as complete?

  • Hello JavierPanwar-2f and KarenHymel-f398,

I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360!

This update fixes the issue you encountered where 23 or more timeline block events prevent a course or microlearning from completing. There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported.

  • Hi JavierPanwar-2f!

Glad to see Judy has been helping you!

I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Rise 360. A Timeline Block with 23 or more events, each containing media, will not be marked as complete in an LMS. I've linked this discussion to the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place.

    • In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest limiting Timeline Blocks (with media) to 22 or fewer events.

Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
