Rise video not playing

Yesterday, all of our Rise files (where we use the shorter URL (not the embed)) stopped playing. This is debilitating our program. We have done extensive troubleshooting to rule our a bug in our play...

    Thanks for sticking with this conversation. We know this issue with embedded Vimeo content has been frustrating, and we appreciate you continuing to share what you’re seeing.

    The good news: the provider has resolved the issue.

    Most videos should now load normally without you needing to do anything.

    If a video still doesn’t appear:

    1. Clear your browser cache.
    2. Reload the course.

    That should restore normal viewing.

    If you’re still running into trouble, let us know what you’re seeing. We’re here and want to make sure everything is working as it should.

Hi LRSamsara! Thanks for reaching out! We are aware of an issue with Vimeo videos not playing correctly in Rise 360. Does this sound like what you're experiencing? If so, our team is currently looking into the fix and we'll continue to update the Status Page when we have shipped a fix.

 

If this is different than what you're running into, do you mind sharing what type of videos you have in your Rise 360 course? It would also be helpful to know if this is only happening when the course is loaded in your LMS and not in Rise 360 itself.
