Rise360 SCORM import in CANVAS does not open in new window

I work for a University an IT tells me it is impossible to import a Rise360 SCORM in Canvas and there force it to open in a new window.

Thank you Cary. I found that one too but it didn't help.
I am waiting for LMS-IT response. They seem confident that they can fix it.

Hi CraigStruble​,
I understand that you're experiencing something similar to what Daniela described and are trying to determine whether there's a way to have a Rise 360 SCORM course launch in a separate browser window instead of displaying within the Canvas page.
- Are you publishing your Rise 360 course as SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or another format?
- When the course launches in Canvas, is it displaying embedded within the Canvas page rather than in a separate browser window?
- Do you have any launch settings available in Canvas for the SCORM package, and if so, what are they currently set to?
We'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup within a support case.
