Rotating Pictures within Markers

Is there any way to rotate a picture 90* inside a Marker?  When I import a picture it will only appear horizontally and I need it to appear vertically.  The attached screen shot shows my issue, I need to have the longer dimension of the photo vertical instead of horizontal.

  • Hello Andrew!

There isn't a way to rotate pictures that are added into a marker, but I'm sure we have community members who have managed to find a workaround for this. I'll leave it to them to share their expertise!

Hi! Wondering if there has been an update on this in the last 4 years? I was able to rotate the graphic by expanding the "Size and Position" options and rotating the image 90*. However, when I use the Zoom Picture option, the orientation is still horizontal instead of vertical.

This idea inspired a work-around that produced the desired outcome- Within Storyline itself I inserted the photo as a normal picture, rotated that image, exported it, and imported that edited photo into the marker. Thank you!

It is still frustrating that this feature is not automated in the program, and would be a great update to add to the roadmap.
