Saving Rise Source Files to Local Hard Drive

Currently it does not seem possible to save the Rise source files to one's local machine. As we plan do develop some modules in Rise for clients, we would need to send them the source files if ...

I guess the answer to my question is there isn't a viable way to do this in RISE?

This is our problem. Basically, you can't unless you have a licence. Ideally, we want an offline editor like Storyline. We have stopped using Rise for this reason

Sorry you hit a roadblock here.
You’re correct, there isn’t a viable way to do that in Rise unless- as Jonathan mentioned- the person you’d like to be the new owner has a subscription to Articulate 360. Here’s more on how that works.
